With his recent executive order, President Trump is trying to remove protections for millions of acres of our public lands and monuments.

If President Trump’s unprecedented order to shrink or eliminate protections for millions of acres of important historical and cultural sites succeeds, where will it end? An attack on one monument is an attack on all.

Department of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is accepting public comments on this executive order, but we have a limited amount of time.

Our public lands are for all people. Every citizen of this country is an owner and citizen of these public treasures.Don't let Secretary Zinke and President Trump take them away.

Here in Wisconsin, we love our parks. Like our national parks and monuments, Wisconsin’s public lands are crucial environmental, cultural, and economic resources. And, like our national public lands, they are under attack. Wisconsinites won’t give up our public lands for Gov. Walker, nor will we allow Secretary Zinke or President Trump to dismantle the Antiquities Act’s 111 years of conservation.
