Join us October 12 to celebrate and shape Milwaukee's water future!

2nd Annual Confluence Gathering, 5:30-8:30pm, Anodyne Coffee's Walker's Point Roastery, FREE

Last year, we hosted our first annual Confluence Gathering, a celebration and declaration of our specific commitments toward making Milwaukee a model water city. At that event, we introduced our Water City Agenda, the vision for our community shaped by over 1300 people and two dozen organizations. The Agenda highlights the six initiatives we need to take, as a community, to build a Milwaukee where everyone participates in the care and enjoyment of our waters.

Since that time, our six initiative teams have been hard at work charting a course toward this vision. At this year's Confluence, we'll give you an update on this work and invite you to find your place in it as we move these initiatives forward. Our next year is focused on action, and we need your enthusiasm and passion to make this vision a reality.

When you join us on Thursday, October 12, you'll break bread with lots of other Milwaukeeans who, like you, are ready to make this place what we want it to be. We're certain you'll feel inspired and we know you'll find your place in this work. We're ready for you to add your amazing talents to this mission, and we're ready to turn this collaboratively designed vision into reality.

Let's be the architects of our shared, bright future, and let's make this place we love a model water city for all to enjoy. See you at the Confluence!

Milwaukee Water Commons is a cross-city network that fosters connection, collaboration and broad community leadership on behalf of our waters. We promote stewardship of, equitable access to and shared decision-making for our common waters.
