Our mission is to inspire and support people of all faiths and faith communities to care for Earth based on their own sacred teachings.

The Interfaith Earth Network of Southeastern Wisconsin (IEN) is a program of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee. Our mission is to inspire and support people of all faiths and faith communities to care for Earth based on their own sacred teachings.

Through education, advocacy, actions, and networking, we serve as a catalyst for people of faith to live, work, and worship in environmentally sustainable ways.

Our Steering Committee consists of individuals with a passionate concern for the environment who represent diverse faith groups.

A resolution passed by the Common Council on Nov. 28, which activists and aldermen have said will improve the city’s response to the lead poisoning crisis, would make Milwaukee a national leader in protecting people from lead exposure from drinking water, according to a national expert.

The Interfaith Earth Network marked its 10th anniversary with a free, dynamic open house titled "Renewing Hope" that drew more than 200 people to the Urban Ecology Center in Milwaukee's Riverside Park on the city's east side.
